Send Off For UNH Rec Therapy Students

By Sara Nadeau

During the past semester, six UNH Recreation Policy & Management students completed an individual clinical rotation with a Carriage Hill resident, finishing this past Wednesday. Carriage Hill opened its doors in December, so these six students have essentially been a part of our “Carriage Hill Family” from the beginning, starting their rotations in January. They have been an integral part of our program of resident care and recreational activities and will be missed! We wish all of them the best in their future endeavors!

Our residents, family members and staff gave them a send-off with a recognition ceremony on their last day, May 4th! Residents also gave personalized thank you notes to their assigned student. Our main thank you gift was a “Scrabble Board” cake from Sweetened Memories (www.sweetenedmemories.com), designed to capture themes from the student’s semester at Carriage Hill. We highly value the contributions of these students and look forward to continuing to partner with UNH in this program!
